Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 23, 2026
Rick’s Tree Service (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates https://www.rickstreeservicega.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information through our website and how you can manage your privacy choices.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit a contact form or request information, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, requested service, property address, and project details.
Please do not include payment information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information in the contact form.
Website information
Our website and supporting providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, referring website, pages visited, and the dates and times of your visits.
With your permission through our cookie controls, we also collect information through Google Analytics, Google Ads tracking, and Meta Pixel, as explained below.
Photos you choose to provide
Adding photos to an estimate request is optional. If you add photos, we collect the images you upload and any details visible in them. Please upload only photos you have permission to share and avoid sensitive personal information.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to questions and service requests.
- Discuss projects, prepare estimates, and arrange services.
- Maintain customer communications and business records.
- Operate, maintain, and protect our website.
- Understand website use and measure advertising, subject to your tracking choices.
- Meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
Submitting a contact form does not enroll you in an automated marketing text or calling program.
We use photos you provide only to review your request and prepare your estimate. An on-site assessment may still be needed to confirm pricing.
3. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Our website uses technologies that support essential functions, such as security and remembering your privacy choices.
With your permission, we also use:
Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website.
Google Ads tracking to measure advertising performance and support advertising features.
Meta Pixel to measure advertising performance and support advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
These services may receive information such as device identifiers, IP addresses, pages viewed, and website interactions. Advertising providers may combine this information with information from other websites, apps, or their own services to measure or personalize advertising.
We load optional analytics and advertising tracking only after you allow the relevant category through our cookie controls.
You can select Accept All, Reject Optional, or Manage Preferences when the cookie notice appears. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time through the Privacy Choices link in the website footer.
Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent you from contacting us or requesting services. Withdrawing permission stops future optional tracking on that browser; it does not automatically remove information already collected.
Preferences generally apply to the browser and device you are using. You may need to choose again if you use another browser or device or clear your browser storage.

4. How we disclose information
We disclose information as needed to providers that help operate our website and business, including website hosting, form processing, business email, website maintenance, and digital marketing providers.
Our website and marketing providers may access contact submissions to maintain the website, manage inquiries, and provide services on our behalf.
When you permit advertising tracking, information about your website activity is disclosed to Google and Meta for the purposes described above. Certain advertising disclosures may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws, even when no money changes hands. You can disable this optional tracking through Privacy Choices.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, with your authorization, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Estimate photos are stored in a restricted Google Drive folder for each request. They are accessible to Rick’s Tree Service and authorized service providers handling your request, including Google as our storage provider. Photos are held in temporary private storage only until your request is submitted, and unsubmitted photos are deleted automatically within about a day.
5. Your privacy choices
You can manage optional analytics and advertising through Privacy Choices in the website footer.
We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to disable optional analytics and advertising on that browser. We do not separately change website settings in response to legacy Do Not Track signals.
You can also contact us to ask about your personal information or request access, correction, or deletion. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights, including obtaining a copy of your information, opting out of certain processing, or appealing a request decision.
We will respond as applicable law requires. We may need to verify your identity for certain requests and may retain information when legally permitted or required. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
To submit a request or ask us to review a request decision, email rickstreeserviceinc@yahoo.com or call (912) 617-4880.
6. Information retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
The retention period depends on the nature of your inquiry, whether we provide ongoing services, applicable recordkeeping requirements, and any need to resolve disputes or protect legal rights. Information held by Google and Meta is also subject to their applicable settings and retention practices.
We keep estimate photos with the related request for as long as reasonably necessary to prepare the estimate, provide any resulting service, and keep business records. You may ask us to delete photos you provided by contacting us.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no website, internet transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Children’s privacy
Our website is intended for people seeking tree services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information through the website.
9. External websites
Our website may link to other websites, including social media platforms. Those websites have their own privacy practices, which are not governed by this policy.
10. Policy updates
We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy here with a revised effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required.
